Sunish Shah, Pharm.D., BCIDP received a bachelors degree in pharmaceutical and healthcare studies from the University of the Sciences and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. He then completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at Hahnemann University Hospital and a PGY2 infectious diseases pharmacy residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. He is a board-certified infectious diseases pharmacist.
Dr. Shah is currently a clinical pharmacy specialist in infectious diseases in the Yale New Haven Health System. In addition to collaborating with the infectious diseases consult service, he is the clinical coordinator for the antimicrobial stewardship program at Lawrence Memorial Hospital and Westerly Hospital.
His research interests include: management of drug resistant bacterial infections, antimicrobial pharmacokinetics, and pharmacotherapy for the treatment of influenza A viruses.
