Alexas Polk, Pharm.D. received her doctorate of pharmacy from the South Carolina College of Pharmacy- USC Campus (SCCP-USC), where she became a published author. During her time at SCCP-USC she was highly engaged in recruitment and admissions. She also served as the student representative on the college’s Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education self-study committee.
Alexas is currently a post-graduate year-1 pharmacy practice resident at St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System in Savannah, GA. She is actively pursuing post-graduate year-2 pharmacy residency specializing in emergency medicine.
Her areas of clinical interest and research include: advancements in the pharmacist’s roles, pharmacy education, and neurology/toxicology in the emergency department setting.
