Ali Vyain, Pharm.D. obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from Nova Southeastern University in May 2015. Following graduation she completed a post-graduate year 1 (PGY-1) pharmacy practice residency at Oklahoma State University Medical Center.
Currently, Dr. Vyain is pursuing a specialty residency in HIV Ambulatory Care/Clinical Pharmacogenetics at the University Of Houston College Of Pharmacy (UHCOP). At the UHCOP, she serves as a Clinical Instructor and continues to pursue her passion of serving the HIV population through clinical practice, research, and teaching/precepting future pharmacists.
After her PGY2, Dr. Vyain desires to work as a clinical pharmacy specialist in HIV/AIDS pharmacotherapy as well as promote the profession of pharmacy through teaching for a school of pharmacy. Her main areas of interest are HIV/AIDS, infectious diseases, and ambulatory care.
