Daniel Migliozzi, PharmD, BCPS
Dr. Migliozzi graduated from Northeastern University’s Bouvé College of Health Sciences in 2008. He practiced as a hospital pharmacist for two years, then completed a Post-Graduate Year (PGY)-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Main Medical Center, followed by a PGY-2 Solid Organ Transplantation Pharmacy Residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is currently a clinical pharmacist specialist in the area of kidney and pancreas transplantation at Rhode Island Hospital. He participates in multidisciplinary transplant rounds and provides medication therapy management services in the renal transplant clinic through utilization of a collaborative practice agreement for the management of hypertension. He is actively involved in the post-transplant discharge process to prevent medication errors and readmissions. He is additionally engages in scholarly activity and is involved in educating pharmacy students, medical interns and medical residents who are rotating on the transplant service.
