Mike Turk, PharmD, AAHIVP is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. After obtaining his doctorate of pharmacy, he completed his PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at Sarasota Memorial Hospital (Sarasota, FL).
Mike is currently in a PGY-2 infectious diseases pharmacy residency at Lee Health, a 1400-bed healthcare system (Lee County, FL). In this setting, he is receiving specialty training in infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship, along with further exposure to inpatient and ambulatory HIV care. He also has the honor of precepting students and residents during this time.
After completing his second year of residency, Dr. Turnk intends to continue working in infectious diseases, with a focus on HIV/AIDS care. He also looks forward to precepting students and residents, as well as continued participation in local and national pharmacy organizations.
