Dr. Laura R. Bobolts is the Director of Oncology Pharmaceutical Affairs at Oncology Analytics, Inc. Here she is the oncology medical information resource for the company responsible for providing recommendations for alternative therapy or support for existing anti-cancer treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine. She also manages a team of oncology pharmacists, provides recommendations for oncology-related national drug policies, and performs population-based oncology research.
She began her oncology pharmacy career at Moffitt Cancer Center specializing in malignant hematology. At Moffitt Cancer Center she established the role of a clinical oncology pharmacist in the Women’s Oncology Clinic – consulting with attending oncologists and devising treatment plans for breast and gynecological oncology patients, directly from the outpatient clinic. She is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University’s College of Pharmacy and completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital. She is a Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist, published in Lancet Oncology, and a peer reviewer for JAMA Oncology. Her main area of research interest is invasive breast cancer.
