Mark McIntyre graduated with his doctorate of pharmacy degree from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University in 2004. After immigrating to Canada and working in the community, he pursued pharmacy residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. Following this he practiced in the areas of Emergency and Critical Care for several years and made the transition to Infectious Disease/Antimicrobial Stewardship where he found his calling. Bugs, drugs, bikes and family keep him busy these days. He currently works as a Pharmacotherapy Specialist in Antimicrobial Stewardship and Infectious Diseases at Toronto General Hospital in Toronto, Ontario
